LITTLE ROCK A Little Rock woman was stabbed to death by her husband Saturday night, Lt. Terry Hastings said.
Barbara Robinson, 47, of 7625 Fairfield Drive, was transported to a local hospital about 9:50 p.m. after being stabbed by her husband, Danny Robinson, 41, Hastings said. Pulaski County Coroner Garland Camper said she was stabbed “multiple times” and later died from her injuries.
Hastings said officers were called to a domestic disturbance at Wright Avenue and Bishop Street, where the couple was having an argument outside of a party.
Police found Robinson stabbed, but Hastings said he did not know whether she was outside or inside when officers found her. Danny Robinson was not at the scene, but officers believe the stabbing took place in a car, Hastings said.
Officers found Danny Robinson on Sunday about 1 a.m. at an unknown address on Riverfront Drive, Hastings said. Robinson had stabbed himself and told officers he did it “because he had stabbed his wife,” Hastings said.
Robinson was being treated Sunday at UAMS Medical Center for injuries that were not life-threatening. He has not yet been charged, Hastings said.
