— Four people at the Indianhead Phillips 66 were arrested Thursday evening for operating illegal gaming machines in the convenience store.

The Sherwood Police Department said that they searched the store after receiving several anonymous complaints about the operation of the machines.

Two prepaid phone card machines were discovered to be electronically outfitted to work as gaming machines similar to slot machines.

The store owners, Fowaz Alhobaishi and Mohammed Yafai, and two employees, Abdlkalc Mawallad and Stephanie Dolphin, were all arrested and charged with operating gambling houses.

Alhobaishi and Yafai were also charged with Possession of a schedule VI narcotic for selling a K2-like substance that was sold in the store.
