LINDSAY KAY JOHNSON - JACOB GLEN COLEMAN

— Wedding vows were exchanged by Lindsay Kay Johnson and Jacob Glen Coleman at 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, in Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church with the Rev. Britt Skarda officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Janet and Ruben Johnson Jr. of Niceville, Fla. Her grandparents are Ina Verne and the late A.R. Pendergrass of Little Rock and Charlotte and Ruben Johnson of Magazine.

The groom is the son of Connie and Cherb Coleman of Mabelvale. His grandparents are Dorothy Graf, the late Jimmy Woodruff, the late Robbye Coleman and the late W.C. “Buddy” Coleman, all of Little Rock.

The altar held arrangements of cream and white roses and hydrangeas.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an ivory gown of Alencon lace over light gold satin. The strapless bodice had a scalloped sweetheart neckline and the A-line skirt extended to a chapel train. Her fingertip champagne veil was edged in scalloped Alencon lace. She carried a cream and white bouquet of hydrangeas and roses accented with green coffee berries.

Bitsy Miller of New York and Amber Bynum of Little Rock were the bride’s honor attendants. Bridesmaids were Brittany Goings and Caitlin Simpson, both also of Little Rock; Frankie Mohylsky of Nashville, Tenn.; Morgan Kelleher of Atlanta; and Kerby Smith of Birmingham, Ala.

They wore black chiffon gowns with asymmetrical necklines featuring single shoulder straps embellished with chiffon streamers. They carried smaller versions of the bride’s bouquet.

The father of the groom was best man. Groomsmen were Jonathan Coleman and Creighton Parker, both of Little Rock; Lance Shirron of Bryant; Zeke Ridout of New York; Trey Shaw of Dallas; and Andrew Johnson of Magnolia.

Guest tables at a reception in the Capital Hotel held arrangements of red roses. Music was by Phat Hat of Baton Rouge.

The bride, an Honors College fellow, graduated cum laude from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville with a bachelor’s degree in biology. She is completing her final year at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Pharmacy.

The groom, also a UA graduate, was a Bodenhamer Fellow and has a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in finance. He is a financial analyst for the UAMS pediatrics department and is pursuing a juris doctorate at University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law.

The couple will live in Little Rock after a honeymoon in Mexico.
