— Katherine Noelle AufderHeide and Gabriel Eric Holmstrom were united in marriage at 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, in the Junior League of Little Rock Building. Dwayne Hornbeck officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Margo and the late Mark AufderHeide of DeWitt. Her grandparents are Cal and the late Mary Katherine Aufder-Heide and the late Jean and Ralph Travis, all of DeWitt.

The groom is the son of Doug Holmstrom of North Little Rock and the late Lynn Buck Holmstrom. His grandparents are Virginia and the late Lt. Col. Arthur Buck of Tempe, Ariz., and the late Sylvia and Edwin Holmstrom of San Francisco.

Vows were exchanged in the ballroom in front of tall silver stands holding arrangements of roses and hydrangeas. Music was by pianist Martha Neal.

The bride, given in marriage by her brother Matthew Aufder Heide of DeWitt, wore a slim ivory charmeuse gown with an overlay of beaded lace, a V-neckline and back and sweep train. She carried a bouquet of white roses with her late father’s wedding wing and a rhinestone crop-duster pin attached in his memory.

Maid of honor was Whitney Tribulak of Atlanta. Bridesmaids were Alexis AufderHeide of DeWitt, sister of the bride, and Lana Flowers of Stuttgart.

They wore short, one-shoulder navy sateen dresses and carried bouquets of white roses and wedding flowers.

Josh Hankins of Little Rock was best man. Groomsmen were Micah Holmstrom of Sadang-ri, South Korea, brother of the groom, and Dustin Chudy of Jonesboro.

Guests were seated by Dallas Elms of Atlanta; Trent Goins of Fort Smith; Chris Thompson of Cabot; and Tucker Travis of DeWitt, cousin of the bride.

A reception in the ballroom followed the ceremony. Guest tables were covered in navy cloths and centered with tall vases of hydrangeas and curly willow. The punch table held a cut glass crystal bowl that belonged to the bride’s late paternal grandmother. Music was by the Travis Kidd Band of Tulsa.

The bride graduated from Arkansas State University at Jonesboro, where she was a member of AlphaOmicron Pi, and earned a degree in journalism and public relations with a minor in agriculture business. She is a regional manager for community development with the Arkansas Economic Development Commission in Little Rock.

The groom received his bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. He is employed by Cranford Johnson Robinson Woods as a public affairs specialist.

The couple will make their home in Little Rock and plan a spring wedding trip to France.
