ARKADELPHIA — Henderson State University’s Ellis College of Arts and Sciences will offer five free classes for the Arkadelphia community.
• Thursday — Drew Smith will present Cultural Traditions-American Adjustments.
• Thursday, Feb. 24 — Clint Atchley will lecture on Dashiell Hammett and Hard-Boiled Detective Fiction.
• Thursday, March 3 — Travis Langley will discuss Batman in His Belfry: Psychology of a Superhero.
• Thursday, March 10 — A class will feature Chris Guyer discussing Uses of Medicine in the Bible.
• Thursday, March 17 — Greg Gibson will present William Hogarth and the Birth of the Modern Political Cartoon.
All classes will meet at 4 p.m. in Reynolds Science Center, Room 127.
