Skeletal remains identified as missing woman

— Skeletal remains found in woods behind a Pulaski County house have been identified as those of a woman who was reported missing last year.

The State Medical Examiner's Office used dental records to identify Margo Lynn Jordan, who was 28 when she was last seen, the Pulaski County Sheriff's Office said.

The cause of death has not been determined.

Jordan's father, Charles Horn, and his wife, Martha Horn, reported Jordan missing on May 17, 2010, telling deputies Jordan was last seen April 13 when Martha Horn dropped Jordan off at boyfriend Shawn Isaacs' residence on Brookside Drive.

According to a report from the Pulaski County Sheriff's Office, Martha Horn said Isaacs a week later denied having seen Jordan in two to three weeks and provided two different accounts of the last time he saw her.

Sheriff's Office Lt. Carl Minden said Isaacs was interviewed after the initial report and subsequently cleared as a suspect in the disappearance.

The Horns reportedly told authorities Isaacs also indicated a man named Alvah Zimmerman was upset that Jordan had stolen money from him and said at one point that Jordan was "going to get hers," the report said.

Minden said authorities also investigated and interviewed Zimmerman, clearing him in the disappearance.

"We've hit a roadblock on it, to be honest," Minden said. "We were getting some tips and leads, but nothing ever really panned out."

Jordan's remains were found Friday in woods near 15209 Burlingame Road.
