Rep. Tim Griffin has teamed up with Rep. Tim Ryan of Ohio to create the Congressional C-130 Modernization Caucus.

Griffin, is a Republican newly elected to represent Arkansas' 2nd Congressional District, home to the Little Rock Air Force Base.

"I am proud to join with Rep. Ryan to lead—in a bipartisan manner—the effort to modernize the C-130 fleet," Griffin said. "Modernization will benefit the country, the Second District and the mission of Little Rock Air Force Base."

The caucus aims to see that there is continued funding for the C-130 Avionics Modernization Program. It also hopes to educates congressmen on how C-130s assist our service members in ongoing military and humanitarian operations.
