Road work set for I-40, Highway 67

Crews making guardrail repairs will require a lane closure this week and next on Highway 67 in Pulaski County, while construction of permanent barrier walls on Interstate 40 in Levy will require the temporary nighttime closure of an Interstate 40 on-ramp in the area.

The lane closure on Highway 67 will be located between the Interstate 440 interchange and the city of Jacksonville and will require the northbound, inside lane to be closed today and again Monday, February 28 through Friday, March 4.

The lane closure will be in effect between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. each day, weather permitting.

The I-40 closure will be on the westbound on-ramp from McArthur Drive (Highway 365). It will be closed beginning Sunday and will remain closed Sunday nights through Thursday nights for the next two weeks.

The lane closure will be in effect between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. each night, weather permitting.

A detour route will be in place to direct traffic to Interstate 40 westbound at the Burns Park interchange.
