Three tornadoes touched down in Arkansas on Thursday, causing property damage and knocking out power to thousands, the National Weather Service in Little Rock reported.
The first tornado, hitting in Lonoke, destroyed a church porch, blew down power lines and damaged the roofs of the National Guard Armory and several houses, the weather service said.
The second tornado hit a few miles northeast of Scott demolished a shed, tore the door off a building, felled several trees and damaged roofs.
The third started 6 miles west of Paron demolished a barn, damaged another and knocked down trees, the weather service said.
