A stabbing at a Little Rock hotel has left a man in critical condition.
According to authorities, a homeless man, Jorge Garcia, 30, is accused of stabbing Christopher Bolton in the stomach during an argument at America's Best Hotel at 7900 Scott Hamilton.
Garcia's mother, Patricia, who works at the hotel, told officers that she tried to stop the stabbing and was cut on her hand.
Bolton, who is from Mississippi, was transported to the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, where he was in critical condition after surgery.
The knife was located at the scene. Garcia was charged with first degree battery and transported to the Pulaski County jail.
