— Little Rock police are currently searching for a missing elderly man who walked out of his retirement complex on July 5.

According to a release from the Little Rock Police Department, Eddie Kinchen, 79 of Little Rock, was initially found by police after leaving his apartment complex on the morning of July 5, but was unable to tell officers where he lived. Once he was returned to his complex at 1200 Commerce St., he was taken in by apartment personnel and fed lunch in the cafeteria, but walked away again — this time at approximately 1 p.m. — when the caretakers weren't looking, and hasn't been seen since.

Kinchen is 5'8", 180 pounds and was last seen wearing blue jeans and a short sleeve, brown-type shirt and wearing a baseball cap. He has not shaved in a few days and should have a light beard.

Apartment staff advised that Kinchen suffers from Alzheimer's Disease and had not taken his medicine in a number of days.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Mr. Kinchen should contact Cold Case Detectives at (501) 371-4660.
