Satisfying shows by 2 Little Rock photographers

Two recently opened exhibits of work by Little Rock photographers are a study in beauty and emotion, in old school and new.
Paul Caldwell’s show at Cantrell Gallery is ravishingly beautiful; the sometimes saturated color digital photographs of Arkansas landscapes can take on the aura of photorealistic paintings.
John Bridges is old school; still shooting with film and presenting his images as black and white and sepia-toned silver gelatin prints at Gallery 26.
Both shows are very satisfying.
