Our visit to Little Rock this year is a stunning education for us.Although we considered permanent residency, the reality of living anywhere that offers so little, poor medical care and sadly an abysmally lacking social option, coupled with few choices, other than fishing, hunting or farming/gardening,or renouvating entire communities ,none of which appeal to a wide cross section of US citizens,we will return to a more progressive reality with more stories than we wanted t o learn of.

kk1kk1kk1_yahoo_com ..............

Maybe you could visit again once you have brushed up on your writing skills ..... maybe some of your friends in your "progressive reality" can help you with your spelling and punctuation.

kk1kk1kk1_yahoo_com,

How unfortunate for us that you are too cultured and dignified to live in Arkansas.
Yes, your 'progressive reality' is exactly where you will be the happiest and most appreciated, that's for sure!

If you want to run around out in the woods, which I do- AR is a great place. And the arts/music/food scene has improved light-years ahead of when I was growing up there, but there's still not a decent Cuban restaurant in LR that I know of. And even the Mexican restaurants are lame- which is odd considering the massive influx. I get back whenever I can.

kk1kk1kk1_yahoo_com...perhaps you should have attended school here....you might try one of our fine institutes of higher learning and brush up on your grammar and spelling. Arkansas is called the natural state because of it's beautiful natural resources and scenery. For those wanting a better social scene, we can drive a fairly short drive to Mardi Gras, the beach, east to Nashville, where some of the biggest stars in the world live, north a bit to Branson for plenty of shows and other entertainment, or again south to Tunica for gambling, casino style. Or if you prefer, you can head down to the horse races in Hot Springs. There are plenty of clubs in Little Rock, Memphis, Ft. Smith, etc....and as you mentioned, there's outdoor fun galore. Fishing, float trips, hunting, chuck wagon races, stock car races, etc....No we're not the big apple, but if you actually care to truly check out Arkansas, you will find there is something for everyone...unless you are just a snob :)

kk1kk1kk1 is, like several of my W. Coast relatives, learning that you come to Arkansas for the scenery, not the conversation. You touch base with kin then scoot on back to a more comfortable environment.

kk1,kk1,1 is a right-wing radical that needs to stay in California but they don't want him. He only chimes in to slam Arkansas because he needs the attention.

kk1kk1kk1_yahoo_com...
Resting your case is a good idea. The overwhelming verdict of the jury here seems to be quite happy about that.
