LR Zoo lowers admission to $1 for Saturday

— Admission to the Little Rock Zoo will be lowered to $1 a person Saturday and parking will be free as part of annual sponsorship from Coleman Dairy.

The discount admission event, dubbed Coleman Dairy Dollar Day, also includes free parking for zoo guests.

“Coleman Dairy continues to be an important partner for the Little Rock Zoo," zoo director Mike Blakely said in a news release. "Few corporations in central Arkansas have shown the type of dedication that Coleman Dairy has shown to the Zoo and we are appreciative of this important gift that serves as a gift not only to the Zoo but to the community at large."

The first 50 families to visit the zoo Saturday will also receive coupons for a free half-gallon of Coleman milk.

Zoo admission on other days runs $10 for adults and $8 for children 12 and under. Children under a year old are admitted free.
