LITTLE ROCK — A 28-year-old Little Rock man was arrested Thursday after he brought his 2-month-old son to Arkansas Children's Hospital with a skull fracture, authorities said.
Courtenay Wise is charged with first-degree domestic battery.
Little Rock Police Department spokesman Lt. Terry Hastings said Wise and the infant's mother brought the boy to the hospital Thursday night. Officials there alerted authorities after examining the child and finding he had one new and two old skull fractures.
Wise told investigators he didn't know how the injuries occurred but said he does play rough with the child, Hastings said.
He was arrested at the hospital.
Police say the 2-month-old is in stable condition.
