Sugarland, a Grammy winning Country music duo of Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush, wowed a Verizon Arena crowd Friday night as they kicked off their Incredible Machine tour.
Nettles’ compelling voice and enthusiastic demeanor kept the crowd intrigued throughout the show.
The group opened strong with “All We Are” off of their current album, THE INCREDIBLE MACHINE...
They stayed strong with the title tracks and their older songs like “Want To,” “Settlin’” and “All I Want To Do.” Nettles was particularly on key during the emotional “Stay” getting a lot of help from the crowd.
Casey James, a former contestant on American Idol, opened the show with several bluesy numbers and a rollicking finale with “Jealous Guy.”
Little Big Town, already country stars in their own right, came up next, and their harmonizing and strong play drew the crowd in. Their blockbuster hit “Boondocks” closed out their set.
