Shot fired during fight in Searcy

— At least one shot was fired during a fight in which a Searcy man was injured Monday night, authorities said.

The injured man, identified as Amondo Figueroa, 38, was not shot, although no information on the extent of his injuries was released.

Police say officers were called to the 300 block of West Center Street in Searcy shortly after 10 p.m. to investigate a report of shots fired. Investigators then located Figueroa bleeding on the steps of a nearby building.

Figueroa was hurt during a fight in which one of the assailants fired a gun into the air, according to a Searcy Police Department report.

No arrests have been made.
