— Lin Marie Canino and Clyde Richard Forrest were united in marriage at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18, in Founders, a historic home in Roswell, Ga. The Rev. Emily Wright of Roswell Presbyterian Church officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Carole and William R. Canino, 700 E. Ninth St., and the granddaughter of Mary Pederson of Las Vegas, the late Rudolph and Hermina Udouj of Fort Smith and the late Ralph Canino of Fairfield Bay.

The groom is the son of Sheila Forrest of Port Elizabeth, South Africa, and the late Robin Forrest.

Vows were exchanged in front of the lighted fireplace with handcrafted wrought-iron trees on either side.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an ivory delustered satin gown embellished with beaded lace at the sweetheart neckline and at the hem of the A-line skirt andchapel train. Her bouquet was filled with hydrangeas, orange unique roses, plumcolored and orange calla lilies, and orchids.

Matron of honor was Jill Snelling of Alpharetta, Ga., sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Stacy Canino of Santa Rosa Beach, Fla., also a sister of the bride; Stephanie Henn of Trophy Club, Texas; and Mina Pastorello of Alpharetta. They wore a black cocktail dress of their choice and carried bouquets similar to the bride’s.

Clara Forrest of Cape Town, South Africa, niece of the groom, was a flower girl. Ring bearers were Cole Canino-Rookis of Santa Rosa Beach, nephew of the bride, and BenjaminForrest of Cape Town, nephew of the groom.

Mark Haas of Roswell was best man. Groomsmen were Stuart Forrest of Cape Town, brother of the groom, and Curtis Aldrich, also of Roswell.

Guests were seated by Brock Snelling, nephew of the bride, and Richard Snelling, both of Alpharetta.

Guest tables at a reception in the Founders Club in Roswell were decorated with wrought-iron holders entwined with fall-colored flowers and leaves. Music was by Joboo and Company. Assisting was Scottie Snelling of Alpharetta, niece of the bride.

The bride has a bachelor’s degree in journalism, advertising and public relations from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. She is a senior therapeutic sales specialist for Sunovion Pharmaceuticals.

The groom has a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University in Port Elizabeth. He is president of ComWeb Internet Solutions Inc.

After a wedding trip to England and South Africa’s wine country, the couple will live in Roswell.
