— Amanda Kathrine Anhalt became the bride of Jake Robinson Hatfield, who goes by Rob, at 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, at the Lafayette Building. The Rev. Mary Jane Cole of First United Methodist Church officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Sherry Hoover and Edmond John Anhalt, both of Little Rock. Her grandparents are Shirley and Matt Warner of Little Rock and the late Katherine and John Anhalt of New Blaine.

Peggy and Donald Hatfield of Prairie Grove are the parents of the groom. His grandparents are Faye and Bobby Hatfield and Lois and the late Lyle Simmons, all of Springdale.

The ceremony site was decorated with sunset lilies, hydrangeas and roses. Music was by violinist Joe Snell.

Given in marriage by her mother and stepfather, Charles Hoover, the bride wore an ivory strapless A-line gown. Cascading bustles embellished with hand-made flowers draped asymmetrically over a lace skirt. She carried a vintage brooch bouquet made with heirloom and collected pieceslined with fresh purple and wine-colored flowers.

Matron of honor was April Ann Allaben of Little Rock, sister of bride. Bridesmaids were Brooke Martin of Sherwood; Becky Mounsey of Brentwood, Tenn.; Lindsey Bowman of Little Rock; and Wendy Hazzard of Wheeler, Texas.

They wore plum-colored dresses and carried a mix of burnt orange lilies, purple and wine roses and hydrangeas accented with vintage brooches.

Best man was Dan Taylor of Baltimore. Groomsmen were Brook Thomas of Fayetteville; Chad Dixon of Tempe, Ariz.; James Brumm of Minneapolis; and Tim Allaben of Little Rock. Guests were seated by Jared Davis of Bentonville and Zac Stowe-Rains of Fayetteville.

A reception in the building’s Louisiana Ballroom followed the ceremony. The buffet held elevated arrangements of wedding flowers. Tall pilsner vases holding floating candles, low cubed arrangements and arrangements of baby’s breath decorated the guest tables.

The bride has a bachelor’s degree in liberal studies from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She is working toward a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice and a master’s degree in business administration.She is a network account manager at United Healthcare Services Inc.

The groom has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. He is a morning newscast director at KTHV-TV, Channel 11.

The couple will live in Little Rock and plan a Caribbean cruise in the spring, after the bride graduates.
