LITTLE ROCK — Dora Jane and Greg Flesher opened their home in the Heights on Oct. 11 for A Night of Hope, a fundraiser for Single Parent Scholarship Fund of Pulaski County.
Drinks were served on the Fleshers’ back porch. Guests sat at tables dotting the back lawn after visiting a buffet in the dining room. Honored for her community leadership was business owner Barbara Graves. Guests also met some of the single parents who have received scholarships.
Sixty-eight single parents are attending Pulaski County colleges with the help of the scholarship fund. Karin Bara is the nonprofit’s executive director. Chairing the event was Jennifer McCarty.
