LITTLE ROCK — WETLANDS, BRIDGES LOOP
Location: Park at the Clinton Presidential Center, 1200 President Clinton Ave., in downtown Little Rock. Walk north to the 13-acre wetlands along the river.
Length: Explore the quarter mile or so of elevated walkways; cross the Arkansas River on the Clinton Presidential Park Bridge; turn west along the well-marked North Little Rock River Trail to the Junction Bridge, cross back over and turn east through the Little Rock River Market District to return to your car. Round trip: 2.2 miles.
Main attractions: Easy walking and the best river views around with lots of things to do along the way.
Hazards: Retired tourists from Texas. Seriously. Avoid them.
