LITTLE ROCK — SPORTS A man was found unresponsive in his car by Little Rock police early Sunday and was pronounced dead at UAMS Medical Center, Sgt. Cassandra Davis said in a news release.
Leedell Rudley, 44, of Little Rock was found about 2:50 a.m. in a 1997 Mercury parked in a ditch at 9700 W. Base Line Road, according to a police report.
Rudley had a gunshot wound in his upper torso, Davis said.
A witness told police he heard gunshots in the area, saw a suspect running in an unknown direction and saw the Mercury on Base Line Road.
No arrests had been made and no details regarding a suspect had developed Sunday afternoon, Davis said.
