ON TV CONTEST

— It’s that time again. The new TV shows are out and the network axes are already falling. That means it’s time for the annual “Save My Show” contest.

For the new On TV Contest, the judge asks: What is your favorite current TV series? Why?

Just write to the judge and tell her why you hope a certain series has a long, long life.

Does New Girl deserve to stick around until she’s old, or at least middle-aged? Would you be lost without your weekly dose of Private Practice?

The rules are simple. You may choose any scripted or “reality” series that is still producing and airing new episodes. Canceled series and news programs are not eligible. Have a question? Ask. The judge promises not to bite.

Your entry can take any form you like Just be sure to explain your choice.

Send the entry (one per contestant) including your mailing address and daytime phone number, to Jennifer Nixon at 121 E. Capitol Ave., Little Rock, Ark. 72201 or by e-mail to jnixon@arkansasonlinecom. Entries must be received no later than 3 p.m. Nov. 21.

The reader with the best-written entry will get to choose from Judge Nixon’s Fabulous Prize Pile of TV DVD sets.

Who can enter: Anyone except the winner of the last contest, Sharron Reed of Caraway, and Arkansas Democrat-Gazette and Northwest Arkansas Newspapers LLC employees.

Note to privacy-conscious readers We do not compile lists of mail or e-mai addresses for evil plots or marketing purposes. All entries are destroyed after the judge has selected her winner.
