JENNY LIND — Sebastian County authorities say a human skull has been found in a creek near Jenny Lind.
Sheriff Bill Hollenbeck told KFSM that the case will be investigated as a homicide until evidence indicates otherwise.
Hollenbeck says the remains have not been identified — but were found about two miles from where 66-year-old Billy Wheeler disappeared in April 2009.
The remains are being sent to the state Crime Lab in Little Rock in an effort to identify them and determine a cause of death.
