Colleges to hold town meeting

— National Park Community College and Henderson State University will have representatives available to learn what four-year and graduate programs the residents of Hot Springs and surrounding areas would like to have offered in Hot Springs. The meeting will take place from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Martin Eisele Auditorium at the Frederick M. Dierks Center for Nursing and Health Sciences, off Rockefeller Drive at NPCC.

Several four-year degree programs are already offered through the University in the Park program on the NPCC campus; however, several other programs have been mentioned or requested by businesses and individuals.

If enough demand is evident, NPCC and HSU will expand their offerings in Hot Springs. Any member of the public interested in earning an undergraduate or graduate degree in Hot Springs is encouraged to attend the meeting.
