CONWAY — The University of Central Arkansas will offer a master’s degree in creative writing.
The Arkansas Higher Education Coordinating Board approved the Master of Fine Arts program Friday during a meeting in Batesville.
The first class of the new Arkansas Writers MFA program will begin next fall. It’s a three-year program and students will take classes in teaching composition and creative writing. The application deadline for the first year is March 15, 2012.
