ASU-Beebe to present saxophone/percussion duo in concert

— The Arkansas State University-Beebe Department of Music will present Griffin Campbell on saxophone and Brett William Dietz on percussion in a recital Nov. 7. They will perform at 7:30 p.m. in the Science Building Lecture Hall.

Campbell has been professor of saxophone at Louisiana State University since 1984 He has performed throughout the United States and in South America, Europe and Asia.

Recordings can be found on the Capstone, Cat Crisis, Centaur, EMF and WorldWinds labels. Dietz, an associate professor of percussion at LSU, has performed in Paris; Bangkok, Thailand; and General Roca, Argentina. Dietz’s album SevenGhosts was released in 2006.
