Gallery Exhibition BATESVILLE - An art exhibit featuring works by Margaret LeJeune and Dustyn Bork, assistant professors of art at Lyon College, will be on display through Friday at the Kresge Gallery at Lyon College.

TODAY Legend of the White RIver Monster NEWPORT - Hear the legend of the White River Monster from 3:30-4 p.m. at the Jacksonport State Park picnic area. Outdoor Movie BATESVILLE - The Batesville Area Arts Council will show an outdoor movie at 7 p.m. Hocus Pocus will be shown at Couch Garden on the Lyon College campus just behind Brown Chapel.

Fall Carnival CABOT - Christ Church of Cabot will hold its annual Fall Carnival from 3-6 p.m. at the church’s new location, 100 Gateway Drive. This year’s carnival will feature games, bouncy houses, live music, a trunk-and-treat car show and more. All proceeds will go to Crossroad House for Girls in Cabot. FRIDAY Driver Safety Course SEARCY - Primes Times of the White County Medical Center will offer an AARP Driver Safety Course from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Hubach Center at WRMC. Participants should park in the back of the hospital off Moore Street and take the elevator to the first floor. All veterans and their spouses can take the course free with proper identification. ficer Santa Program will hold a Prettiest Man

Contest and pie and cake auction at 6:30

p.m. at the Stone County Fairgrounds. The

contestant fee is $25, and admission to the

event is a nonperishable holiday food item,

such as cans of green beans, cranberry

sauce or corn. Cash donations will also be

accepted, and all proceeds will go to the

Officer Santa Program that assists in mak
