— Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church was the setting at 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, for the marriage of Erin Bray Smith and 1st. Lt. Garrett James Rybak. The Rev. Heath Bradley officiated.

Parents of the bride are Caryn and Keith Smith, 37 Vigne Blvd. She is the granddaughter of Carol and H. Gene Brown and the late Patricia and Carl Wooten, all of Little Rock.

Parents of the groom are Gary Rybak of Victoria, Texas, and the late Gail Rybak. His grandparents are Lucile and the late Victor Rybak and Vi and the late Victor Bianchi, all also of Victoria.

The chancel was lighted by ivory pillar candles in large wrought-iron candelabras. Music was by guitarist Aaron Williams, violinist Amy Au and vocalist Kim Qualls.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an ivory silk-taffeta gown with hand-embroidered V-neck bodice with capped sleeves. The full skirt extended to a chapel train. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of garden roses, hydrangeas, ranunculus, calla lilies and dusty miller.

Lindsey Holbert of Little Rock was her sister’s matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Sara Thompson, Samantha Skyrme, Brittney Richardson and Kristina McCartney, all of Little Rock; Laura Garrett of Commerce City, Colo.; and Ashley Blake of Plano, Texas. They wore strapless dresses of champagne-coloredsilk-taffeta and carried a hand-tied mix of flowers similar to bride’s bouquet.

Flower girl and ring bearers were Lauren Smith of Little Rock and Matt and Ty Cattan of Victoria.

Grant Rybak of Dallas, brother of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were Drew Holbert of Little Rock; Jake Friemel and Evan Clark, both of Dallas; Bradley Bongers of Fort Worth; Jason Driver of Victoria; David O’Quinn of College Station, Texas; and Jeromiah Garcia of Bryan, Texas.

Guests were seated by Aaron Bragg and Joe Bresnahan, both of Little Rock, and Kirby Cattan, of Victoria.

A reception in Saint Andrews Ballroom in Chenal Country Club followed the ceremony. Guest tables held a mixture of cylinders holding wedding flowers and floating candles. Music was by Venus Mission Band.

The bride has a bachelor’s degree in communication and public relations from Harding University. She is employed with the Little Rock Chamber of Commerce as an executive assistant and events coordinator.

The groom has a bachelor’s degree in systems engineering management from the U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Colo. He is a first lieutenant in the Air Force.

After a wedding trip to the Bahamas, the couple will live at Yokota Air Base, Fussa, Japan.
