BEEBE — The ASU-Beebe Hazard Mitigation Planning Team will meet at 10 a.m. Nov. 16 in the Student Center of Arkansas State University-Beebe. The kickoff meeting will be held by members of ASU-Beebe faculty and staff and Bold Planning Solutions Inc. Project milestones will be detailed, as well as Federal Emergency Management Agency Mitigation Planning Requirements.
Specific questions to be answered include the following:
◊How does a FEMA-approved mitigation plan help ASU-Beebe and its campuses?
◊What are additional funding streams this plan will provide for the University?
◊What is the general project timeline for plan completion?◊ Who are my contacts for emergency management efforts from ASU-Beebe, ASU-Heber Springs, ASU-Searcy and Bold Planning Solutions?
