LITTLE ROCK — An afternoon assault in Garland County has left questions to be answered.
According to a release by the Garland County Sheriff's Office late Monday afternoon, a 23-year-old woman and her 10-month-old child were injured by the woman's 29-year-old ex-boyfriend. The assault occurred on Green Circle, off of Lookout Point Road.
The assault involved a gun, though no one was shot, according to the release. Police were not aware of any injuries at this time, no motive is known and no names are not being released or are not known. One suspect has been confirmed, with the possibility of a second suspect in the fold. No arrests have been made.
Investigators are still gathering information and interviewing witnesses and will release more information as it becomes available.
