LITTLE ROCK — A driver was killed Thursday when her vehicle hit a culvert, overturned and ejected her, authorities said.
Arkansas State Police say Joanna Barden, 22, of Greenbrier, was driving a 2003 Jeep southwest on Highway 16 shortly before 5 p.m. when she lost control rounding a curve near Higden.
According to a preliminary accident report, the Jeep left the roadway, hit a concrete culvert and partially ejected Barden. She died from unspecified injuries sustained in the crash.
