NEXT MONTH
Fling: The Harvest Festival will take place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Oct. 8 and noon to 6 p.m. Oct. 9 at the Wildwood Park for the Arts, 20919 Denny Road, Little Rock. The event will feature demonstrations, children’s activities, hayrides, music, model trains, an iron forging competition and a 5K. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children ages 6 to 12. The RunWILD 5K will start at 8:30 a.m. Oct. 8, from the Promenade at Chenal to Wildwood. Registration is $25 in advance, $30 the day of the race. Call (501) 821-7275.
