— TODAY Bridge Caravan BENTON - The Saline Crossing Regional Park and Recreation Area Inc. will hold a caravan to the Old River Bridge at 2 p.m. The tour will begin from the old Saline County airport behind Holland Chapel Missionary Baptist Church on Airlane Drive. MONDAY Book Club Meeting BRYANT - The Monday Afternoon Book Club will meet at 1 p.m. at the Mabel Boswell Memorial Library to discuss the club’s chosen title. The group is open to adults 18 and older.

Monday with the Master Gardeners BENTON - The Saline Count y Master Gardeners will meet at 6:30 p.m. at the Bob Herzfeld Memorial Library. Presenter Sherry Faulkner will discuss “Vegetable Gardening in Small Areas.” The program is open to the public. For more information, call (501) 778-4766.

TUESDAY Historical Association Meeting ARKADELPHIA - The Clark County Historical Association will meet at 11:30 a.m. at Western Sizzlin’ restaurant. The program, which will begin at noon, will feature Civil War author Joe Walker, talking about his new book, which details the Battle of Jenkins Ferry. Visitors are welcome to attend.

THURSDAY Theater Time Thursday BRYANT - All ages are invited to enjoy a family friendly movie, selected for ages 12 and under, at 4 p.m. at the Mabel Boswell Memorial Library.

Japan Delegation Trip HOT SPRINGS - An informational meeting for residents interested in exploring travel this fall to Hot Springs’ sister city, Hanamaki, Japan, will be held at noon at the Hale Bathhouse on Bathhouse Row in downtown Hot Springs. Details will be provided on the trip, tentatively scheduled for Sept. 1-9.

FRIDAY Kelly Miller Brothers Circus MALVERN - The Malvern Area Kiwanis Club and the Malvern Moose Lodge will host the Kelly Miller Brothers Circus. The shows will be at 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at the Malvern Moose Lodge, 2365 U.S. 67 S. Proceeds from the event will benefit various service projects for area children.
