— Skylar Diggins scored 19 points, Brittany Mallory hit two three-pointers in overtime and Notre Dame beat Connecticut 83-75 on Sunday night to reach the national championship game for the second consecutive year. The Fighting Irish (35-3) will play Baylor in the championship game on Tuesday.

Baylor in final Brittney Griner had 13 points and nine rebounds to lead Baylor to a 59-47 victory over Stanford.

Baylor (39-0) is one victory from becoming the seventh Division I women’s team to finish as an undefeated champion since the NCAA women’s tournament started in 1982.
