LITTLE ROCK — A tornado watch has been issued for two counties in southeast Arkansas.
The National Weather Service issued the watch through 11 a.m. for Ashley and Chicot counties as well as 30 counties in Mississippi and 9 parishes in Louisiana.
Officials say tornadoes are possible as part of a system that will spur strong to severe thunderstorms through mid-morning. Hail and wind gusts of 50 to 60 mph are also possible.
