— Arkansas State Police released the 911 phone call made shortly after the motorcycle accident involving Bobby Petrino and Jessica Dorrell, and will question the trooper who transported Petrino to the hospital about the incident.

In the call to dispatch released Friday afternoon, the caller describes Petrino as "walking" and said his face was "bleeding quite a lot." The caller also said Dorrell "did not look to be injured."

During the call, Petrino is said to have gotten in "a white SUV" and left the scene.

Earlier reports have stated that Petrino and Dorrell declined to call 911 after the accident. According to the police report released Thursday, Petrino was taken to the hospital by Capt. Lance King of the Arkansas State Police while Dorrell departed for her own car in Fayetteville.

According to a release from the department Friday afternoon, Capt. Lance King — the officer also responsible for acting as Petrino's gameday security detail during the season — is being asked to provide his supervisor a detailed summary into the events of Sunday, April 1, in which Petrino was injured in a motorcycle accident and was later found to have had a female passenger, the 25-year-old Dorrell, with him.

Petrino did not disclose that information to Arkansas athletic director Jeff Long until Thursday afternoon and has been placed on administrative leave pending an internal investigation by the university.

The inquiries have no direct correlation to the investigation of the crash, which authorities concluded on Thursday. However, the questions are "legitimate and worthy of answers" according to the release.

ASP officials hope to have more information provided by the summary and are hoping to share it with the public early next week. The information that is released will be dependent upon what King provides.

This seems to get more and more involved. Sounds like a Trooper may be in the hot seat as well now.

This is low-level gossip and not news. I'm not interested in any story about Petrino in which the main topic is a woman on his motorcycle during an accident. Any further "trooper" time to discuss this woman and get more information for additional juicy gossip is a waste of taxpayer money and the valuable time of the police.

There may be the small item of falsifying a police report. He should learn from B. Clinton. If you get caught don't lie about it, dude.

Unlike Clinton it seems he did tell the truth in the police report.

Since the police report's description of the Hwy. 16 section as "straight" conflicts with pictures of the scene, I used the coordinates from the report to locate the site in Google Earth (the woodpile is visible nearby in Street View). The site is a VERY short straightaway between two curves; the exact location & direction where Petrino left the road seems to back his story. However, IMO it's unlikely that the sun blinded him; the curve runs from north to northwest, probably NOT in the sun's path.

I always enjoy reading comments from people who took the time to read and comment on something they consider not news worthy. Personally, I believe that falsifications of records, abuse of power are very newsworthy topics. This young lady has it made at her new job! I mean, pity the fool who tries to reprimand her should her work be substandard! There is no way anybody could fire her without a lawsuit! I understand now why she was not injured in the accident... She is Teflon coated.

Did the trooper take Petrino's at his word like the press did? I have no reason to doubt the trooper. It is troublesome that he called the trooper to meet him, which Petrino must have felt confident in King's loyality to him. Hopefully King told him he had until the report came out to get his wife and family prepared.

Whats new, the man is ruled by his genitalia. This makes him not unlike most men. Time to stop hero worshiping anyone; we all have feet of clay
