— Jana Kristen Eager and Matthew Lewis Law were united in marriage at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 31, in St. James United Methodist Church. The Rev. Greg Schick officiated.

Parents of the bride are Jan and Jim Eager, 9 Bent Tree Drive. Her grandparents are Jo Ann and Don Knight of Little Rock and the late Eleanor and John Eager.

The groom is the son of Dianne and Gale Law, 9 Toulouse Court. He is the grandson of Margie and the late Glen Lewis of Mena and the late Pauline and Waldo Law of Fort Smith.

The chancel was lighted with candelabra and torches. Music was by soloists Kaley Cullen, Will Richardson and Drew Westbrook.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a one-shoulder gown of ivory satin with a sweetheart neckline and an overlay embellished with beading. Her ivory veil was fingertip length. She carried a traditional round bouquet of blue hydrangeas, white roses and white stephanotis.

Allison Wise of Fayetteville was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kaley Cullen and Katie Sweet, both of Boston; Julia Curry of New Orleans; Meghan McDonald of Dallas; Stacy Williams of Little Rock; and Kerianne Spiess of Philadelphia. They wore royal-blue satin dresses in the style of their choice and carried white hydrangeas and roses.

The father of the groom served as best man. Groomsmen were Edgar St. Amour, Khalil Ibrahim and Mark Lewis, cousin of the groom, all of Little Rock; Jeffrey Freyder of Chicago; Korey Betts of Fayetteville; and John Hurd of Savannah, Ga. Guests were seated by Will Richardson of College Station, Texas; Brad Petkovich of Little Rock; and Drew Westbrook of St. Louis.

A reception at Pleasant Valley Country Club followed the ceremony. Guest tables, covered with royal blue cloths, were centered with blue and purple delphiniums in clear fluted vases. The buffet table was adorned with a large silver urn filled with blueand purple delphiniums. Music was by the Blue Silk Band of Memphis.

The bride graduated magna cum laude from Tulane University in New Orleans with bachelor’s degrees in finance and management, and with high honors and a juris doctorate from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Bowen School of Law. She is a public utility and antitrust lawyer at the Roberts Law Firm.

The groom is a cum laude graduate of Rhodes College in Memphis with bachelor’s degrees in biochemistry and molecular biology. He received a master’s degree in cell and molecular biology from Tulane University and will graduate in May with a medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He will begin a residency in internal medicine at Tulane in June.

After a honeymoon in Cabo San Lucas, the couple will live in Little Rock until the groom starts his residency and then move to New Orleans.
