Multiple vehicle accident on Highway 67 backs up traffic

North Little Rock firefighters render aid to three people who were injured in an accident on US Hwy 67/167 soutbound at I-40 westbound in North Little Rock Wednesday afternoon.

LITTLE ROCK Arkansas State Police dispatch reports a multiple-vehicle accident on Highway 67 near the Interstate 40 split on Wednesday afternoon.
Early reports are of multiple individuals ejected from the vehicle, with no word on their injuries at this time. The accident has traffic backed up a significant distance.
We'll have more on this as the story develops.

This does not surprise me to see an accident at this location. It very dangerous and people fly through there. I live in Gurdon (Clark County) and I was just through this area yesterday afternoon. I hope everyone is ok but this is a spot that needs to be improved by the highway department.
