J.B. Hunt Transport Services reported Thursday record revenues and earnings for the first quarter of 2012.
The freight hauler and logistics specialist said revenue for the quarter was $1.17 billion, which was up 17 percent from the same period last year.
Operating income was $117 million, up 30 percent.
Earnings per share were 57 cents, compared to 40 cents a share in the first quarter of last year.
Net earnings were $67.7 million for the quarter.
