The Arkansas Foodbank has announced it is providing $160,000 in warehouse and other equipment to church food pantries and other agencies across the state.

The Foodbank said Thursday that the equipment includes freezers, walk-in coolers, shelving and pallet jacks.

The donations are to agencies that use the Foodbank for supplies to help expand their capacity to provide food to the needy.

The Arkansas Foodbank is the largest food bank in Arkansas and says it serves approximately 300 food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters and other agencies in the state.
