Man shot in head in White County

LITTLE ROCK — Authorities say a White County man was shot in the back of head as he drove away from an altercation.
White County Sheriff's Office Corporal Steve Hernandez said 29-year-old Coty R. Cook was driving away Thursday after an altercation with a man outside of Searcy when the other man opened fire, striking Cook.
Cook was taken to to the White County Meical Center and later transferred to UAMS Medical Center in Little Rock. He is expected to be released from the hospital later Friday.
Hernandez said the investigation is ongoing, adding police are not releasing the suspect's name.

Guess the name was changed to White County Meical Center. Seems like editing and spellcheck are not used anymore on media websites.
