— Tyler Gilbert, a linebacker for Arkansas' football team, was arrested on Tuesday and charged with aggravated residential burglary and felony theft of property.

According to a preliminary arrest report, Gilbert and two other men, Jesse Booker and Ryan Graves, broke into an apartment at 820 W. Piedmont Place in Fayetteville last Friday and stole items from Mbato Nkwocha. Nkwocha told officers that all the men are members of the same fraternity, according to the report.

Nkwocha told officers he had been struck in the face with a crowbar by Booker, who also punched him with both fists. The three men stole property valued at $285, according to the report.

Fayetteville police arrested Gilbert at 9:45 a.m. on Tuesday and he was booked into the Washington County Detention Center at 11:19 a.m.

Gilbert posted a $10,000 bail Tuesday at 4:27 p.m.

Graves has also been arrested, while Booker has yet to be arrested.

Through a team spokesperson, Arkansas interim head coach Taver Johnson said Gilbert had been suspended indefinitely from the football team.

Gilbert, 20, is the third Arkansas football player arrested this spring. Peacock has a trial date set for June 18, while Whitehurst has a court date set for April 30.
