Man arrested after improper sex offender registration

A man was arrested yesterday after failing to comply properly with sex offender registration requirements, reports said.

Authorities arrested Joshua Lynn Cobb, 29, at his home in Baxter County Monday. The Arkansas Crime Information Center sent Cobb, who is registered as a level 2 offender,which according to the report, means that he has a moderate risk to re offend, a form in February to verify his residency. The form was returned as "unclaimed."

Cobb last verified his residence in September of 2011. He was required to re verify residence by March 5 of 2012.

In addition to Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Registration charges, Cobb faces the unrelated charges of Revocation of Suspended Sentence, Failure to Appear in Court and Child Support Non-Payment Body Attachment.

He is being held without bond, pending his circuit court date on April 10.
