Arkansas Gov. Mike Beebe is heading to Arizona on vacation.
Beebe on Tuesday planned to fly to Arizona for a golfing trip with his friend and chief of staff Morril Harriman. The two have gone to Arizona almost every year for the past several years, but scrapped last year’s trip after a deadly tornado hit Vilonia.
His office says Beebe is flying commercial to Arizona and will return on Saturday.
Lt. Gov. Mark Darr will be acting governor during Beebe’s absence.
