— St. James United Methodist Church was the setting at 7 p.m. Saturday, July 28, for the marriage of Laura Dawn Herron and Scott Samuel Hilburn. The Rev. Greg Schick officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Michelle and Scott Herron of Sheridan. Her grandparents are Gayle and Robert Stoops of Hensley and Bonnie and Troy Herron of Sheridan.

Arrangements of white hydrangeas, peach and white roses, white lilies, green carnations and peach and white stock decorated the church. Music was by organist Robert Lindley. Sarah Stoops of Hensley, cousin of the bride, assisted with programs.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a strapless fitted gown with a ruched bodice of organza over satin. A champagne-colored satin band accented with pearls and Swarovski crystals defined the waistline. The slim A-line fit and flare skirt of satin and organza had an overlay of English net with cascading Venice lace and extended to a chapel train. She carried a bouquet of white hydrangeas, roses, white lilies, green carnations and hypericum.

Serving as the bride’s honor attendants were Lauren Alexander Manatt and Brittany Kogut, both of Little Rock. Bridesmaids were Courtney Stone of El Dorado; Ki Matlock and Rachel Fulcher, both of Fayetteville; and Ashley Kurosaki, Jill Briggs and Mallory Dunseath, all of Little Rock.

They wore champagne-colored chiffon halter-style gowns and carried bouquets of hydrangeas.

Honorary bridesmaids were Heather McHaney, Amber Enderlin and Paige Bratcher, sisters of the groom.

Flower girl was Olivia Bratcher of Little Rock, niece of the groom.

The father of the groom served as best man. Groomsmen were Dylan Herron of Bauxite, brother of the bride; and Hunter Williams, Chase Martin, Robert Feltus, Ben Haynes, David Munsey and Matt Graves, cousin of the bride, all of Little Rock.

Guests were seated by Andrew Carter, Drew Kurosaki, Fletcher Martin and Tomas Thrash, all of Little Rock; Mason Dickson of Bentonville; Chris Farmer of St. Louis; and Lance Larson of Benton.

A reception at Pleasant Valley Country Club followed the ceremony. Guest tables held arrangements of white hydrangeas, peach and white roses, and white lilies.
