— Republican presidential candidate Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney landed at Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport in Little Rock on Wednesday afternoon, greeted by a small group of media and local officials.

Romney is in town to attend a campaign fundraiser Wednesday night at the Peabody Hotel. Romney recently selected Wisconsin Representative Paul Ryan as his running mate in the election.

The visit is Romney's first to Arkansas since beginning his campaign for president in 2012.
