State’s ACT average score rises to 20.3, up from 19.9

Students graduating from Arkansas high schools in 2012 had an average score of 20.3 on the 36-point ACT college admissions test, which is an increase from last year’s average of 19.9 and a return to slightly higher scores in previous years.
