— Authorities in southwest Arkansas say a Hope man was killed in an accident at the Hope Livestock Auction.

Hempstead County Sheriff James Singleton told reporters that 40-year-old Tracey Tyrone Harris died Thursday following the accident at the Hope Livestock Auction sales barn.

Singleton says Harris died after being pinned between a gate and rails by a cow. Singleton says Harris was taken to Wadley Regional Medical Center in Hope where he was pronounced dead.
