Beebe announces 24 appointments

Gov. Mike Beebe announced 24 prosecutorial, board and commission appointments on Monday afternoon.

Stephen Shirron of Malvern was appointed as prosecuting attorney for Judicial District 7. His appointment is effective Jan. 1, 2013, and will expire on Dec. 31, 2014. He will replace Eddy Easley.

Ian Vickery of El Dorado was appointed as prosecuting attorney for Judicial District 13. His appointment is effective Jan. 1, 2013, and expires Dec. 31, 2014. He will replace Robin Carroll.

Gov. Beebe also announced the following appointments to boards and commissions:

Kimberly W. Arnold of Conway was reappointed to the Children's Behavioral Health Care Commission. Her appointment expires Aug. 15, 2015.

James "Wiley" Blansett of Searcy was appointed to the Arkansas Department of Aeronautics Commission. He replaces Joe Jett, and his appointment expires Nov. 9, 2017.

Donna Casparian of Hot Springs was appointed to the Board of Visitors for the Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences and the Arts. She replaces Mary Jane Rebick, and her appointment expires Jan. 14, 2016.

Bobby Davis of Batesville was reappointed to the Arkansas Fire Protection Services Board. His appointment expires Oct. 14, 2015.

Steven Domon pf Little Rock was reappointed to the Children's Behavioral Health Care Commission. His appointment expires Aug. 15, 2015.

Dexter Doyne of College Station was reappointed to the Arkansas Building Authority Council. His appointment expires July 22, 2015.

Jonathan Dunkley of North Little Rock was appointed to the Children's Behavioral Health Care Commission. He replaces Marvin Alexander, and his appointment expires Aug. 15, 2015.

David Glover of Hampton was reappointed to the Arkansas Department of Aeronautics Commission. His appointment expires Nov. 9, 2017.

J.R. Gurnsey of Hampton, was appointed to the Ouachita River Commission. He replaces Darrell Donaldson, and his appointment expires Sept. 1, 2019.

Tim Hill of Springdale was appointed to the Arkansas Local Police and Fire Retirement System Board of Trustees. He replaces Donna Adkins, and his appointment expires Jan. 1, 2016.

Chris Jones of Imboden was reappointed to the Arkansas Fire Protection Services Board. His appointment expires Oct. 14, 2015.

Deborah Kirby of Little Rock was appointed to the State Library Board. She replaces David Malone, and her appointment expires Oct. 18, 2019.

Buddy Ledford of Fayetteville was reappointed to the Arkansas Fire and Police Pension Review Board. His appointment expires Jan. 1, 2016.

Weston Lewey of Forrest City was appointed to the Mississippi River Parkway Commission. He replaces Ron Killingsworth, and his appointment expires June 8, 2016.

John Martin of Brinkley was reappointed to the Delta Cultural Center Policy Advisory Board. His appointment expires Oct. 1, 2015.

David Maxwell of Arkadelphia was appointed to the Criminal Detention Facility Review Committee, Judicial District #9 East. He replaces Randall Mathis, and his appointment expires Jan. 14, 2016.

Bill Morgan of Paragould was reappointed to the Arkansas Department of Aeronautics Commission. His appointment expires Nov. 9, 2017.

Walter Nixon III of Jacksonville was appointed to the Arkansas Development Finance Authority. His appointment is effective Jan. 1, 2013, and will expire Jan. 14, 2015.

Matthew Pelkki of Monticello was appointed to the Arkansas State Board of Registration for Foresters. He replaces Robert Weih, and his appointment expires July 18, 2015.

Gary Pugh of Pocahontas was reappointed to the Arkansas Scenic Resources Preservation Coordinating Committee. His appointment expires Oct. 1, 2016.

Margie Saul of DeValls Bluff was appointed to the Arkansas Agriculture Board. She replaces Don Burrows, and her appointment expires Aug. 15, 2016.

Jim Tolewitzke of Brookland was reappointed to the Arkansas Fire Protection Services Board. His appointment expires Oct. 14, 2015.
